Platform Systems

Tecnofruit is a multi-role orchard platform system easily adapted for year-round orchard management tasks. It comes into its own during harvest by enabling growers to achieve higher pack outs through delicate fruit handling and significantly reduced bruising. It also makes picking fruit easier because no ladders are required. Fruit is placed directly onto soft conveyor belts and is pre-graded on its way to a vertical conveyor for gentle placement in the bin. Fully adjustable, split-level workstations provide access to the upper and middle levels of the tree while low fruit is picked by teams on the ground. Harvesting every level of the tree in one pass enables competent platform teams to pick up to 70 bins a day.

Tecnofruit Accessories

The SBX30 Wide Belt replaces the two standard issue finger belts at the front of the Tecnofruit CF105 platform and is the ideal option when there’s higher fruit loading in the lower levels of trees. The extra width enables the belt to carry more fruit, which means more pickers can be deployed at ground level for increased productivity

Tethered Platform

The Cub is a simple, versatile workhorse that can be narrowly configured for tighter rows or expanded to accommodate wider spacings. A tethered system means each orchard worker is secured to the platform with harness and lanyard system to allow safe freedom of movement. Dual front and rear platforms can be set to optimum heights and widths, and the hydraulic rear platform lifted and lowered for speedy bin transfer. Front loading and rear offloading bin forks mean the Cub can continue working uninterrupted.

Orchard Systems

Olmi Leaf Removers make leaf removal quicker and more economical by using high pressure air to shatter excess foliage on trees and vines without damaging fruit. They are a game changer for apple growers because they enable more effective spray coverage and increase sunlight penetration of the canopy so more fruit can achieve high colour. As a result, some growers have reported harvesting their entire crop in just two passes down the rows.

Vineyard Systems

Olmi vineyard leaf blowers remove flowering residue and other impurities from grapes while increasing the penetration and efficacy of spray treatments. Enhanced air circulation around grapes helps prevent Botrytis by minimising the retention of heat and moisture. Patented technology enables Olmi vineyard leaf blowers to be operated at higher ground speeds than competing systems.

Standard Platforms

The Billo range includes single and split-level platforms that are designed for manoeuvrability and ease of operation by first time users. Spacious work areas, height adjustability, and extendable wings for spanning wider rows make these a versatile choice for all orchard systems. Picking bags are required during harvest, with apples placed in a bin positioned at the back of the platform.
